Where are the courts located ?
The courts are located 0.2 miles away from the clubhouse on Whitman Road at the Groton Country Club, 94 Lovers Lane, Groton MA 01450.

How many courts are there?
8 Pickleball Courts and 1 Tennis Court

Do you have to be a member to play?
No, members and guest all have equal access to the courts. However, if you are a guest you pay a $5 fee to use the courts.

How do I become a member?
Visit our membership page by clicking here. When you purchase a membership it takes 24-48 hours before your Court Reserve profile is updated to member status, no worries though, your membership is active and we can void/credit any fees that you are charged during this time.

How do I book a court?
Groton Country Club uses the Court Reserve App to manage all court bookings. You can create a profile on Court Reserve by clicking here.

Do you offer Pickleball and/or Tennis lessons?
Yes. Download the Court Reserve app. Look for “Events”, “Categories”, and “Pickleball Clinics” or “Learn to Play Pickleball”. Or Select “Book a Pro”. Book the time you want and you will be contacted by the Pro. Don’t see a class that will fit your schedule? Contact Sue at sue@grotoncountryclub.com.

What is the cost of a Pickleball or Tennis lesson?
$65 for 1 player, per hour, $35pp, for 2 players per hour, $25pp, for 3-4 players per hour. Rates are the same for Pickleball and Tennis.

Do I have to rush out and buy a paddle if I am taking a learn to play pickleball class?
No the pros/instructors have demo paddles for all students to use. If interested in purchasing a newer version of the demo paddle, you will receive a link to purchase, which includes a 10% discount.

I’d like to purchase a new paddle. Is there a code I need?
There is a LINK for savings. Contact Sue to let her know what paddle you would like to purchase and she will send you a link.

Can I host a birthday party or corporate event at the courts?
Yes, parties include court rental and picnic table usage. Instruction and demo paddles are extra. Contact sue@grotoncountryclub.com to inquire about pricing and availability.

When are the courts open for the season?
GCC Racquet is open April-November.

What events are offered at the courts?
Offer Pickleball and Tennis Leveled Open play, Group Play, Court rentals, Socials, Travel Leagues and Tournaments. Pickleball/Tennis clinics, learn to play, kids (all ages) private lessons, group classes, socials, travel leagues and tournaments are also offered.

Is there a dress code?
Suggestions for play: Shirts / Court sneakers are required; Bring your own balls/water; Observe proper court etiquette; Protective Eyewear is recommended.

Is there any ball machines?
GCC has an ERNE Pickleball machine for your use to rent by the hour. Personal ball machines are prohibited.

Can I bring a chair onto the court?
Chairs that will not scratch the court surface are allowed. Bring all of your personal belongings home with you.

Are there items not permitted on the courts?
GCC Racquet asks that there are no wheeled toys allowed on the court, no scooters, strollers, bikes, roller-skates, skateboards, etc.

Are pets allowed on the courts?
Pets are not allowed on the court.

Do you use the TeamReach app?
TeamReach: App used to channel communication between members. Use GCC002 to join.
