2008 Group Swim Lesson Information

There are three convenient ways to register for swim lessons, see below. All questions regarding which level your child should be in and what times and levels are available can be answered by the Pool Director Carol Wright 508-517-6698 or email her at coachcarol@grotoncountryclub.com

Register On-line: Go to our Register on-line page, please keep your email confirmation this will be your only receipt no postcard will be mailed for on line registrations. If you do not receive an email confirmation with registration, or you have any problems with this process email me at Payment may be made with MasterCard, Visa, or Discover. After completing your registration, print a receipt copy for your records.

Mail-in instructions: Pint 08 Swim Lesson Registration Form You may register by printing out the registration form with full payment of fees accompanying the completed form. Payment can be made with a major credit card (MasterCard, Visa, or Discover) or a check payable Groton Country Club. Each check or credit card payment will be processed upon receipt. Print our registration form mail to Groton Country Club, P.O. Box 302, Groton, MA 01450 , download registration above.

Walk in: As always you may register at the club, hours are Monday - Friday 10 am to 3 pm, if you do not find anyone in the office you may also register at the Snack Bar, hours are 7 days a week from noon to 8 pm.

Session A - June 30 to July 11, 2008

Session B - July 14 to July 25, 2008

Session C - July 28 to August 8, 2008

Session D - August 11 to August 22, 2008

Levels 1 through 4	9:00 Class for ABC are Closed
Levels 1 through 4	9:45- 10:25
Levels 1 through 4	10:30-11:10
Levels 1 through 4	11:15-11:55

Parents: If you are in doubt as to the specific class placement of your child, think of this: Place your child in the lower level. It is always easier for the instructor to move your child up a skill level than to move your child down a skill level. If you really have doubts, please speak to one of the instructors for a recommendation of where your child will best be placed.

Swimming Level Guidelines

Level 1 ages 3 and up Afraid of the Water Can't Swim at all Will not get fact wet Blows bubbles	Level 1 + Loves the Water Can't Swim at all Will get face wet Will jump in
Level 2 Can swim with no flotation Not afraid Needs to learn strokes Willing to float on back	Level 2 + Can swim 10 yards freestyle Elementary Backstroke Diving Can swim in deep water
Level 3 will be grouped by age and ability Can swim 25 yards freestyle with rhythmic breathing Backstroke Beginning to learn Breaststroke and Sidestroke	Level 4 will be grouped by age and ability Freestyle Breaststroke Sidestroke Backstroke
Mom (Dad) & Me Ages 9 mos. to 3 years will be held during Session B at 10:30 only. The class is one week not two, however you can choose either week 7/14 or 7/21 or both. The cost is 1/2 of the regular priced lesson so if your lessons are member price pay $40 for each week if Resident cost $50 and if Non_resident cost is $60. Please use the regular registration form and under session include date(s) 7/14 or 7/21. You cannot register online, you can only register by mail or person for Mom(Dad) & Me. Member	$80.00
Non-Member Resident of Groton	$100.00
Non-Member Non Resident	$120.00
Private Lessons 1/2 hr. Class taught by WSI Instructors	$30.00
Semi-Private 1/2 hr. Class per child	$20.00

2008 Private Lessons

1. Private lessons are only offered to members or paying guests of the pool, please purchase day passes and privates lessons at the Snack Bar, Pool Staff cannot accept payment
   

2. Sign up for lessons by calling 508-517-6698
   

3. PLEASE call if you are going to miss your lesson. Habitual no-shows will be charged the full rate for missed lessons.

4. Please remember, if you are late and the teacher has another lesson booked, you may not receive your full 1/2 hour, but will be charged for the time booked

Rates are as follows

Private lessons $30.00 per half hour

Semi-Private lessons $20.00 per half hour per student
