Our Philosophy At the Summer Camp at Groton Pool & Golf Center, children ages 8 - 13 years old have fun learning and developing skills in golf, swim and tennis. Equally, if not more important, children develop self confidence, learn fair play and benefit from daily social interaction with their peers.
Camp Information Swimming , Golf and Tennis are taught by certified instructors. Healthy snacks and lunches, use of golf clubs and tennis racquets are included within tuition. Children who have completed grades 1-8 are invited to attend our camp. The camper to staff ratio is 5:1. Before & After Care Programs are available! Please remember to include a towel, swimsuit, change of clothes, sunscreen, sneakers, water bottle and a hat as children are outdoors most of the day.
Children are grouped in the following age groups: Group A : Completed grades 1 & 2 Group B : Completed grades 3 & 4 Adventure I: Completed grades 5 & 6 Adventure II: Completed grades 7 & 8 Counselor in Training Program This program is for young adults who have completed grades 9 and 10. Cost is half of regular tuition and includes daily lunch. C.I.T.'s are mentored and supervised by Lead Counselors and will recieve an evaluation upon completion. Two week minimum attendance is required.

NOTE: Camp drop-off is at the Tennis Courts, where a counselor in a yellow t-shirt will be waiting, unless in cases of extreme weather, in which case drop-off will be at the front entrance to the Fairways Reception Hall.
Licensing The Groton Pool & Golf Center's Summer Camp complies with the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and is licensed by the Groton Board of Health. Parents may request copies of staff background checks, health care and discipline policies and grievance filing procedures.
Medical Forms All camp attendees must have up-to-date immunizations and medical history forms on file prior to the first day of camp. Upon receipt of registration, parents will be mailed a packet that includes Groton Pool & Golf Center policy handbook which details attendance policies, pickups, late fees and health care and discipline policy. Also included are staff background checks and training information.
Pickup and Drop-off Daily p[ick-up and drop-off is at the entrance to the Pavilion, by the Tennis Courts. Children will wait there before and after camp. Pick-up is promptly at 4:00 PM, and there is a late charge for any child not picked up at 4 PM. If there is an emergency and parents cannot make pick up, please call the main office to make other arrangements.
Financial Aid The Town of Groton Trust Fund is available for any family with children under 16 who need financial help to pay for sports programs, summer camp and school supplies. Please contact Karen Tuomi at (978) 448-1173 for more information.
