Parents: If you are in doubt as to the specific class placement of your child, think of this: Place your child in the lower level. It is always easier for the instructor to move your child up one skill level than to move your child down one level.  Our instructors can always recommend placement for your child.

Swim Level Guidelines

Level 1 Afraid of the Water Can't Swim at all Will not get fact wet Blows bubbles	Level 1 + Loves the Water Can't Swim at all Will get face wet Will jump in
Level 2 Can swim with no flotation Not afraid Needs to learn strokes Willing to float on back	Level 2 + Can swim 10 yards freestyle Elementary Backstroke Diving Can swim in deep water
Level 3 will be grouped by age and ability Can swim 25 yards freestyle with rhythmic breathing Backstroke Beginning to learn Breaststroke and Sidestroke	Level 4 will be grouped by age and ability Freestyle Breaststroke Sidestroke Backstroke

Cost of Swim Lessons, Per Session:

Member	$80.00 (Mom & tot $40)
Non-Member Resident of Groton	$100.00 (Mom & tot $50)
Non-Member Non Resident	$120.00 (mom & tot $60)
Private Lessons 1/2 hour class	$35.00
Semi-Private (2 children) 1/2 hour class	$22.00 / per child

2009 Private Lessons

1. Private lessons are only offered to members or paying guests of the pool, please purchase day passes and privates lessons at the Pro Shop, Pool Staff cannot accept payment
   

2. Sign up for lessons by calling 508-517-6698, or see sign up book on the pool deck.
   

3. PLEASE call if you are going to miss your lesson. Habitual no-shows will be charged the full rate for missed lessons.

4. Please remember, if you are late and the teacher has another lesson booked, you may not receive your full 1/2 hour, but will be charged for the time booked

Rates are as follows

Private lessons $35.00 per half hour

Semi-Private lessons $22.00 per half hour per student
